How to use Cell Doubling Time Calculator

  1. Read the method and enter quantities in the units shown on the form.
  2. Check the measurement basis, recorded event, genetic assumptions or the externally supplied care-plan instruction before calculating.
  3. Select Calculate, then read both the result and its limitations. Reset clears the result and restores the starting form.

Method and scope

Doublings = log2(Nt/N0); doubling time = elapsed time ÷ doublings. Growth rate = ln(Nt/N0) ÷ elapsed time.
