Flip a virtual coin with adjustable heads probability. Generate independent samples, heads/tails counts and a readable sequence preview.
How to use this tool
- Choose the event or model and review the assumptions below.
- Enter the labeled inputs. Probability inputs are percentages from 0 to 100, not decimal fractions.
- Select Generate and read the labeled outputs.
- Change an input and calculate again; Reset restores the example inputs.
Calculation method
Each flip is a new independent Bernoulli draw using browser cryptographic randomness.
Assumptions and limits
A simulation produces an observed sequence, not an exact theoretical probability. Educational use; no wagering, audit or security guarantee. Up to 10,000 flips; first 200 displayed.
Worked example
At 20 flips and heads probability 50%, the expected heads count is 10. A generated sample need not contain ten heads and need not alternate. Select Generate again for a fresh sample; Reset restores the starting inputs rather than replaying a saved random seed. All flips contribute to the totals even when only the first 200 outcomes are shown. Use the separate probability calculator for exact head-count events.

Frequently asked questions
What does this simulation assume?
A simulation produces an observed sequence, not an exact theoretical probability. Educational use; no wagering, audit or security guarantee. Up to 10,000 flips; first 200 displayed.
How do I enter and update the inputs?
Use the labeled fields, then select Generate. Percent fields use 0 to 100. After editing, calculate again; Reset restores the example inputs.
